Elio (Lello) Piazza, photo-journalist and natural history picture editor based in Milan (Italy), has been editorial director of FujiPro, house organ of Fujifilm Italia, contributor to
the monthly magazine Weekend with a regular series of articles on nature and travel (text and photos), editor of Il Teleobbiettivo, quarterly journal of the Italian Photo-Hunting Society promoting hunting armed with a telephoto lens instead of a rifle.
From 1988 to 1990, Piazza has been responsible for selecting films for the series Airone Video. He has also been contributor to the monthly FOTOgraphia, the monthly Gardenia, with responsibility for the monthly Picture of the Month column and to the monthly Bell’Europa, with responsibility (choice and editing of photos and text) for the monthly feature dedicated to a naturalistic destination. Since 1987 to 2007, has been photographic editor and editorial board member of Airone. In 2013 Lello was member of the jury at the prestigious “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” competition.
