Mark Gottlieb completed his graduate work in engineering at Stanford University before embarking on a successful career as an entrepreneur. Over the years, he founded multiple companies, with his final venture earning recognition on the INC 500/5000 list for two consecutive years. After selling that business, he retired early and has since dedicated himself to exploring and photographing the beauty of the world—an endeavor he approaches with the same curiosity and passion that shaped his business career. Mark was in a serious mountain biking accident five years ago that left him partially paralyzed on his left side, but that hasn’t stopped him from his exotic travels. Mark lives in Fairfax Station, Virginia, with his wife Sharon. They have four children and sixteen grandchildren, who keep life joyful and wonderfully unpredictable.
