Cornelia Dana Marchis is a German photo editor and photographer based in Milan. She holds a degree in Visual Communication with a specialization in Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography from Hochschule Hannover – University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
Drawn to Italy from an early stage, she interned at the renowned Grazia Neri photo agency in 2005 and soon after began working as a picture editor at Corriere della Sera, contributing to the weekly supplement 7 and the monthly magazine Pianeta. There, she developed expertise in visual storytelling, iconographic research, and the management of relationships with international photographers.
As a freelancer, she has held both editorial and commercial roles for Italian photo agencies such as Parallelozero and Echo Photo Agency, where she was responsible for international market development and coordination of photojournalistic projects.
Earlier in her career, Cornelia gained experience in fashion, advertising, and architectural photography through internships and freelance collaborations with studios in Hamburg, Freiburg, and Hannover.
