Henrique Murta

Born in Minas Gerais: land where the mountains take the form of a stormy sea.

Since the beginning of his time, he has intensely experienced the grandiose nature of Brazil. His father, wildlife photographer Roberto Murta, showed him the rare beauty of life and lands from the most varied perspectives.

Because he had such a strong affection for nature, he decided to study geology. During graduation and masters, in addition to being even more amazed by our Earth, he learned to read its language. His senses were heightened to the mysteries and charms of the natural world.

Murta shares his visions through works of art, materialized in mineral pigment on cotton paper. In addition, he offers mentorship and immersive photography workshops in nature.

His work has been acknowledged in more than 70 international competitions, exhibited in over 10 photography exhibitions, and featured in more than 10 publications, including books, magazines, and newspapers.
