Country: Turks and Caicos Islands 🇹🇨
Brilliant Studios is a team of two photographers: Anita Marcus and David Gallardo:
Anita Marcus:
Born in the Netherlands, daughter of parents that were already infested with the travel bug.
After working for a large bank in the Netherlands as a bank manager she wanted to see the world more and became a scuba instructor with a passion for photography.
Photography has allowed her to live and work in the Philippines, Indonesia, Canada and the Cayman Islands. In 1999 she arrived for the first time in the Turks and Caicos Islands and went back and forth to these beautiful islands.
Two years ago she opened her own photo studio in the Netherlands. Her work has been published in magazines all over the world.
In 2013 she came back to the Turks and Caicos Islands and is photographing weddings internationally.

David Gallardo:
Born in Portugalete, Spain, the son of a commercial diver, I’ve always had a passion for the ocean and for traveling. I grew up in Barcelona, where I became a scuba instructor – a job that’s taken me all over the world and eventually brought me to the Turks and Caicos.
I’ve had the opportunity to visit the Galapagos Islands, Cuba, South Africa, Bali and Egypt, to name a few places. Diving brought me to TCI in 1999, and I joined Tropical Imaging in 2003. I love shooting destination weddings and had an amazing opportunity to shoot a wedding in Bora Bora in August (you can see the photos on our blog). My passion for the ocean remains strong, though, and I also love shooting underwater – whether it’s marine life or wedding clients.
