SM Mostafijur Rahman is a travel cum street photographer in Bangladesh. He is also a documentary photographer, photojournalist, and filmmaker. He was born in Pirojpur, Bangladesh. Mostafijur completed his bachelor's from the BM College Barishal and post graduate in Information and Library Science from Dhaka University, Bangladesh. Since then, he has been working as a professional newsman and a freelance photographer and has been involved in several photography projects. He primarily focuses on social issues, including human rights, poverty, climate change, and cultural identity. He has covered several national and international events, including the Rohingya refugee crisis in Bangladesh. His work has been published in various national and international publications, including The Dhaka Post, The Business Standard, The Business Post, The Banglanews24.com, risingbd, Chinese daily Xinhua, CCTV Asia Pacific, the Daily Telegraph. UK, and National Geographic magazine. He has won several international photography awards like The Nature Conservancy 2023, The Royal Society of Biology 2023, Skills in Action Photo Competition 2024.
