Mr. Shi has over 30 years of working experience as a professional photographer in the field of commercial and product publications. Mr. Shi is also well-known for his photography of landscape, nature, and wildlife. For the past 15 years, he has won over 600 photography awards that were recognized by the PSA or FIAP.
In PSA Who’s Who listing under the electronic image division from 2008 to 2011, Mr. Shi ranked 3rd place amongst the world’s top ten exhibitors for 4 consecutive years. In 2019, Mr. Shi has also ranked 4th in the world under the Nature Division. Additionally, Mr. Shi’s works were selected by PSA for The Image of the Year-Best Creative in 2009 and 2010.
Mr. Shi's style is focused on aesthetics and delicacy. His talent for capturing rare and sudden instances of breathtaking lighting and atmosphere before the moment vanishes imbues his portfolio with a sense of epicness, majesticness, and astoundedness. His success derives from his patient, single-minded pursuit of all the unique moments that required his absolute attention. He would often spend weeks and even months immersing himself in the landscape, becoming one with the wilderness, and facing harsh environmental factors just so he can obtain the precious snapshot.
