Born in 1983, Rima Maroun is a Lebanese photographer based in Beirut. She is the co-founder of Collectif Kahraba theater company and cultural association as well as Hammana Artist House a multidisciplinary art residency space with a focus on performing arts. In 2020 she inciated Collective 1200 a collective of artists that have photography at the heart of their artistic practices.
Since 2008, her work was part of Photoquai biennale in Paris, Art Dubai, Meeting Point 6, Festival des arts de Bordeaux, Gallery Janine Rubeiz, Beirut Exhibition Center, Institut Francais de Beirut, Beirut Art Center among others. And recently at Les femmes s'exposent photo festival and part of Photoespana at Casa Arabe with Collectif 1200
