Born in Genoa, where she studied and started her career as photographer and professor assistant of the Applied Photography course - University of Genoa. In 2010 she moved to Paris, where she worked for several international photojournalism agencies (Magnum Photos, Parallelozero) and curated various exhibitions and editorial projects. Since 2012 she is head of photography and reporter for the French edition of National Geographic. The stories she produced all around the world have been published in different international editions of National Geographic. She participates in many photography festivals as portfolio reader and lecturer and as a jury member of international competitions.
