Austin Johnson is a photojournalist and FAA licensed drone pilot currently working as a staff photographer for the Lewiston Morning Tribune in Lewiston, Idaho. In 2021 he received an internship from Charles Snowden Program for Excellence in Journalism, was awarded fourth place in the 2020-2021 Hearst Awards Photojournalism Picture Story/Series competition and was invited to take part in the 73rd Missouri Photo Workshop. His work has been featured in the Willamette Week, East Oregonian, Daily Emerald, KATU Portland, KEZI Eugene, and on CNN.
