I am an Orthopaedic and Trauma surgeon by profession,specializing in shoulder injuries but a passionate photographer by hobby. I started photography when my parents bought me a Vivitar Point and Shoot when I was in school,and later after passing medical school,they gifted me a Nikon analog SLR. I have been self taught but voraciously see and try to inculcate all the Masters work. Due to my professional commitments, at times it is difficult for me to take my camera out, but given a chance, nothing makes me more happy than to go out and use my camera to my hearts content. I love travel and street photography, but never restrict myself to any particular genre.
I have won more than 250 awards in 80 countries and my work has been on National Geography as well as on the homepage of Royal Photography Society,UK as well as various print and digital media
