Growing up in a small village surrounded by North-Italian mountains, I always took the beauty of Southtyrol for granted – it was simply part of everyday life. Like many children, I harbored dreams of becoming a pilot as I grew older.
However, as I matured, my path led me to complete a technical high school (TFO Bruneck) 2016 and to pursue a Master of Education at the University of Innsbruck - everything seemed to fall into place as planned.
The onset of the Corona pandemic 2019 brought about a significant challenge in my life when a severe sports-injury gave me to understand that my previous way of life might never be the same again.
The profound realization that I might never return to sports marked the toughest physical and psychological period of my life.
Searching for a path back to normalcy, I underwent a profound shift in perspective, learning to find joy in life's simple pleasures. It was during this transformative period that my childhood yearning to fly like a bird resurfaced, inspired by captivating videos from creators like Sam Kolder and Ellis van Jason.
Drawing on the skills acquired in high school, I took the leap and built my first fpv-drone from scratch 2020, embarking on a journey where each practice flight felt like a step towards reclaiming my freedom and the connection with the beauty of nature.
The process of learning how to handle this full manual kind of drones took me about a year, leading me to carry my drones everywhere I ventured. Through four years of dedication, numerous setbacks including lost drones in the depths of oceans and lakes, my FPV skills evolved, enabling me to navigate smoother lines, tighter gaps, and riskier maneuvers. Motivated by this passion, I ventured into freelance work under the name Pro.Motion 2024, turning my greatest passion into a fulfilling vocation where the sky became not a limit, but a canvas for endless exploration and creativity.
