Madelon Dielen is a Dutch professional photographer renowned for her immersive landscape photography, particularly in the Arctic regions. Based in Hoorn, North Holland, she has been capturing the raw beauty of nature for two decades, often venturing alone into remote volcanic steppes and rugged mountain terrains with only a camera, drone, and tent. Her aerial images, taken from high perspectives, reveal abstract patterns and contrasts in the natural world, aiming to evoke wonder and raise awareness about the fragility of our environment.
Madelon took her first steps into the world of photography at a young age. At just 8 years old, she already pushed the boundaries set by her mother in the small village where she grew up, capturing nature with her first camera. Since then, Madelon has continuously pushed both her mental and physical limits in the quest for that one perfect nature photograph.
A certified professional photographer and drone pilot, Madelon specializes in reportage and documentary photography. She has been teaching photography sharing her expertise with both amateur and professional photographers. In addition to her educational work, she organizes and leads photography workshops and expeditions to various destinations like Iceland, Norway, and Scotland, offering participants hands-on experience in capturing stunning landscapes.
Madelon’s work has been featured in various exhibitions, newspapers, magazines and online media.
