Growing up along the picture perfect coastline of Byron Bay in Northern NSW, Australia, Craig’s passion for photography began early—sparked by a simple waterproof disposable camera gifted by his parents when he was just five. While other kids were flipping through comics, Craig was captivated by the pages of National Geographic, drawn to the power of visual storytelling.
At 13, he spent all his savings on a 35mm SLR camera, a decision that quietly set the course for his future. Entirely self-taught, Craig dedicated years to honing his craft, driven by curiosity, persistence, and a deep connection to the natural world. In 2004, he took a leap of faith and turned his passion into a full-time profession—marking a turning point in his life and career.
In 2011, long before drones became mainstream, Craig built his first custom remote-controlled drone—ushering in a new era for his photography. Since then, drone work has become a central part of his creative process, offering him a new perspective on the landscapes he’s always loved to capture.
