Salt dreams

In these cities the dreams of the working people of the coast, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico, are founded. The working days are around 12 to 14 hours to obtain the mineral, even so the price they receive per kilo is precarious for the worker's sustainability. More and more lagoons are drained for the purpose of exploitation, which gives way to the local fauna as migratory is drastically affected, in Mexico salt mining causes serious damage to the biota of natural ecosystems, leaving the populations without the economic and natural wealth that they were looking for to improve their life.
